2. Loosen the tie rod end nut.
3. Using a special puller, disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
4. Completely unscrew the tie rod end nut.
5. Apply alignment marks as shown in the figure for proper installation in the future.
6. Remove the tie rod end.
7. Align the alignment marks made before removing the tie rod end, then install the tie rod end in place and tighten the locknut to the specified torque.
8. If there are no alignment marks, adjust the dimension A shown in the figure to the standard value (10.1-23.1mm).
9. Install the tie rod end on the steering knuckle.
10. Tighten the nut to the specified torque and insert a new cotter pin.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
11. After installation, check the wheel alignment (see chapter "Suspension"). If necessary, adjust.
