Attention.
- Towing eyelets are designed for use in emergency situations (for example, in order to pull out a stuck car).
- When using a towing eye, always make sure that the cable or chain is directed along the longitudinal axis of the eye. Do not apply lateral forces to the towing eyes.
Note: When towing or recovering the vehicle, wrap a soft cloth around the end of the towing cable or chain adjacent to the towing eye. This will prevent damage to the car's bumper.
1. Remove the towing eye, jack handle extension and wheel wrench from the luggage compartment.
2. To prevent damage to the bumper paintwork, wrap the end of an extension cord or flathead screwdriver with a soft cloth and open the plug located on the front bumper.

Note: Completely remove the plug and store it in a safe place so you don't lose it.

Attention.
- If the towing eye is not securely tightened, the towing eye may loosen and come out of the mounting hole in the bumper while the vehicle is being towed. Make sure the towing eye is securely tightened.
- Be careful not to damage the towing eye, tow hook, vehicle body or transmission while towing. To do this, follow the guidelines below.
- Do not tow a vehicle heavier than yours.
- Do not accelerate the vehicle abruptly, as this will cause considerable force on the towing eye, tow hook or tow cable due to jerking. Attach the cable only to the towing eye and the tow hook.
