Attention. It is forbidden to adjust the position of the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving. Adjusting the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving poses a safety hazard. By adjusting the steering wheel while driving, the driver may unintentionally turn the steering wheel sharply to the right or left. This could result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
Steering wheel adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel in the longitudinal direction and inclination, do the following.
1. Stop the vehicle and lower the release lever located under the steering column.
2. Set the steering wheel to the required tilt and/or adjust it in the longitudinal direction, then bring the lever to the top position to fix the steering column.
3. Before you start driving, shake the steering wheel up and down and make sure it is securely locked.
