Attention. Observe safety measures when working with the engine cooling system.
1. Clean the cooling system cover and seal surfaces.
2. Check the cooling system cover for cracks or loose seals. If any defects are found, replace the cooling system cover with a new one.
3. Connect the cooling system cover to the test device.
4. While pressing the cover of the cooling system, gradually build up pressure and make sure that it is held stably for 10 seconds. If pressure does not hold, replace coolant cap.
Note: Cooling system steam valve opening pressure: 93.2-122.6 kPa (0.951-1.250 kg/cm2).
