2. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
3. Stop the engine and wait at least five minutes before continuing.
4. Remove the oil dipstick, wipe clean and reinsert until it stops.
5. Remove the oil dipstick:
Gas engine:
Make sure the oil level is between the F and L marks on the dipstick.
Petrol engine oil dipstick
If the oil level is below the L mark, add oil to the engine.
If the oil level is above the F mark, fuel may enter the engine oil. Change the engine oil in the engine.
Diesel engine:
Make sure the oil level is between the X and L marks on the dipstick.

If the oil level is below or at the level of the L mark, add oil to the engine.
If the oil level approaches or exceeds the X mark, replace the engine oil in the engine with new one.
6. Fully insert the dipstick until it contacts the cylinder head cover.
