Ignition advance check

Note:

• The ignition timing is not adjustable.
• The M-MDS tool is used to check the ignition timing.

1. Prepare for engine parameter checks.

2. Check ignition timing (M-MDS: "SPARKADV").

Note: Ignition timing 14°BTDC.

3. Verify that the ignition is gradually shifted to the advance side as the crankshaft speed increases. If deviations from the norm are detected, it is necessary to perform a more detailed diagnosis and eliminate the malfunction.
