Checking the increased idling frequency

Note:

• The idle speed is not adjustable.
• The M-MDS tool is used to check the idle speed.

1. Prepare for engine parameter checks.

2. Verify that the engine idle speed under various loads (M-MDS: «RPM») is in the allowed range. If abnormalities are found, check the relevant input parts, wiring harnesses and connectors.

Note:

Increased idle speed:

• When the air conditioner is turned on: 650-800 rpm.
• When consumers of electricity are switched on: 600-750 rpm.
