Downshift switch circuit test
Note. The downshift switch is built into the selector lever assembly.
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the front console.
3. Disconnect the selector lever connector.
4. Check for continuity between terminals D and J of the selector lever connector. If the test results are not correct, replace the selector lever with a new one.

Removal and installation of the downshift switch
Note. The downshift switch is built into the selector lever assembly.
If it is necessary to replace the downshift switch, replace the selector lever assembly.
