Removal and installation of the selector lever assembly

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the front console.

3. Disconnect the selector lever connector.



4. Remove the selector cable (see above).

5. To turn away nuts of fastening of the lever of the selector.



6. Remove the knob of the selector lever.



7. Remove the selector lever.

8. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.

Checking the selector lever

1. Turn on the ignition (engine off or on).

2. Make sure that the selector lever moves as shown in the figure.



3. Make sure that the selector lever moves smoothly and clearly.

4. At detection of any malfunctions to adjust a cable of a drive of the selector.
