Attention. Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with painted surfaces. This fluid contains substances that can dissolve body paint. If brake fluid gets on a painted surface, immediately wash it off with plenty of water and wipe the surface thoroughly.
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the air filter with air duct.
3. Remove the battery from the shelf.
4. Disconnect the vacuum line with bracket.
Clutch C66M-R, C66MX-R
Clutch D66M-R, D66MX-R
5. Remove the clutch hydraulic supply hose by pressing on the point indicated by the arrow in the figure.
6. Remove the pipeline and clutch hydraulic hose:
Remove the connector clip and disconnect the pipeline with the clutch hydraulic hose.
Remove the hydraulic clutch lines and hoses.
7. Make sure that the o-rings are installed on the connectors of the hydraulic clutch pipes and hoses.
Attention. When removing the hydraulic clutch line and hose, the o-rings may remain in the receiving area of the connector. If the clutch piping and hose are connected in this condition, it may cause leakage in the connection.
8. Install clutch pipe and hose:
- Press the connector clamp.
- Insert the hydraulic clutch line and hose connector.
Note: You should hear a click when plugging in the connector.
- Install the hydraulic clutch pipe and hose.
9. Insert the clutch hydraulic supply hose.
Note: You should hear a click when plugging in the connector.
10. Pulling each connector of the hydraulic clutch pipes and hoses, make sure that they are securely fixed, then press them again.
11. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
12. Remove air from the clutch hydraulic system.
