Transfer case oil level check

1. Place the car on a level surface.

2. Remove the plug with washer from the level hole.

3. Verify that the oil level is at the bottom of the inspection hole.


4. If the oil level is low, add the correct grade of oil through the check hole until it starts to flow.

5. Tighten the test hole plug with a new washer to 40-58 Nm.

Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
