Removing
1. Before removing the caliper, unscrew the brake fluid reservoir cap, drain two-thirds of the fluid into a sealed container, and discard it.
2. Loosen the front wheel nuts, jack up and support the front of the vehicle on axle stands. Remove the front wheels.
3. If the support needs to be removed from the car, remove a bolt of a tip of a hose of brake system and disconnect a tip.
4. Turn off two mounting bolts and remove a support. If the caliper is not removed from the vehicle, do not disconnect the hose. Move the caliper to the side and hang it on a piece of wire so as not to damage the brake hose.
Installation
5. Inspect mounting bolts for signs of corrosion and rubber bushings and dust covers for damage. Replace them if necessary. Before installation, lubricate the contact surfaces of the bolts, bushings and dust covers with white lithium grease.
6. Install the caliper, insert the bolts and tighten them with a tightening torque regulated specifications.
7. Install the brake hose (if removed). If the hose has been disconnected, bleed the brakes (Chapter 15).
8. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle to the ground. Tighten the wheel nuts.
9. If the brakes do not need to be bled, depress the brake pedal several times to bring the pads to the disc. Check the brake fluid level and top up the reservoir if necessary.
