Speedometer drive cable — removal and installation

1. Remove the clamping bolt and remove the speedometer drive cable with the mechanism from the transmission. See Section 1, Chapter 4.

2. Partially remove the dashboard board as described in Chapter 12, until the back of the speedometer is accessible. Disconnect the cable from the speedometer.

3. Release the cable and remove it from under the cover.

4. Replace any o-rings and, if necessary, the driven mechanism from the old cable to the new one.

5. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
