Light bulbs (late models) — replacement

1. There are two sizes of incandescent warning lights on the back of the instrument panel on later models, but the replacement procedure remains the same as described in Section 12, Chapter 10 (photo).

2. To replace the reverse light bulb, open the tailgate or trunk lid, then remove the screws and brackets as necessary, remove the trim from the rear of the car.

3. Unfasten the bulb holder and remove it by pressing and turning it (photo).




4. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.

5. To replace the light indicating the opening of the door, remove the screw and lens, pull out the light bulb (photo). Install a new light bulb, install the lens and tighten the screw.

6. To replace the dimmer rheostat illumination bulb, remove the rheostat and rotate the bulb holder from the rear (photo). Install the new bulb in reverse order.
