The rear seatback can only be stowed in the recess after the seat has been raised.
Proceed as follows:
- 1. Remove the head restraints.
- 2. Pull the seat handle.
- 3. Raise the seat up.
- 4. Pull the seat forward.
- 5. Pull out the lock button and lower the backrest.
To return the chair to its original position, raise the back of the chair and lower the seat down.
Attention! When restoring the seat to its original position, place the seat belts on the seat so that passengers can use them.
Carefully! Be careful not to hurt your fingers or pinch them between the seat and the floor.
Attention! When you are carrying a large load and the back of the rear seat is lowered, the luggage should not rise above the level of the front seat. In addition, all parts of the load must be carefully secured so as not to pose a danger in the event of a possible sudden stop or collision. When setting the backrest to its original position, make sure that it is securely fixed. To do this, move it back and forth.
Carefully!
- In the event of a collision or sudden braking, if the backrest is not properly locked, passengers or objects may be thrown forward and there is a risk of injury.
- To avoid the risk of fire, never remove the carpet from the trunk due to the high temperature of the exhaust pipe.
- Luggage or other load should never be higher than the level of the backrests, as objects are a hazard in the event of sudden braking or in the event of a collision.
- To prevent serious injury during sudden acceleration, sudden stop or collision, passengers should not be placed in the baggage loading area, on the back of a folded seat when the vehicle is moving.
- Keep children out of the back seat to avoid accidental blockage in the loading area
