Fuel filter replacement

1. The fuel filter is located on the left side of the engine compartment and is attached with a spring clip. The filter is disposable and must be replaced at regular intervals.

2. Place a rag or newspaper under the fuel filter to catch fuel spilled when the hoses are disconnected.

3. Using pliers, slide the mounting clips over the hoses and disconnect the hoses from the filter (photo).



4. Note the direction of the arrow on the filter and unhook the filter from the mounting bracket.

5. Install a new filter so that its arrow is directed in the right direction, connect the hoses and install the clamps.
