2. The battery gives off hydrogen gas, so keep open flames and burning cigarettes away from it.
3. Try not to tilt the battery. If electrolyte is spilled, wash it off with plenty of water. Wear eye protection when handling the battery.
4. Always disconnect the negative first (-) battery cable then positive (+) (photo).
When unscrewing the nut, hold the clamp of the negative wire, as the battery post may be damaged
5. After the battery cables are disconnected, unscrew the nuts and remove the retaining clip.
6. Carefully remove the battery from the engine compartment.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the cables and retainer nuts well, but do not overtighten them as the battery case may be damaged. Battery pins and cable ends must be cleaned before connection (Section 1).
