Removal and installation
Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.

Loosen the adjusting bolt (pic. 13.6).
Disconnect the connectors and release the wires from the clamp.
Remove the alternator drive belt.
Loosen the alternator mounting bolt and remove the alternator.
Install the alternator and screw the nut onto the pinch bolt. Screw in the adjusting bolt.
Install the alternator drive belt and adjust its tension.
Connect the connectors to the generator.
Connect the wire to the negative battery terminal.
Attention! When replacing brushes, you must use a soldering iron. Some soldering skills are required to get the job done.
