Removing
Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the connection of pipelines of the air supply system.
Remove the connection to the air supply pipe, remove the locking bolt and the oxygen concentration sensor (if it exists) and remove the heat shield.
On the thread of the catalytic converter mounting studs (or exhaust pipe) drip loosening fluid onto the cylinder head and wait 10 minutes until the threads are impregnated.

Mounted engine units: 1 - tension bar; 2 - generator; 3 - generator bracket; 4 - air supply pipes; 5 - drive belt; 6 - engine oil level indicator; 7 - engine support; 8 - exhaust manifold; 9 - heat-insulating screen; 10 – the lower inlet pipeline of a cooling liquid with a hose; 11 – catalytic converter and receiving exhaust pipe; 12 - bypass hose; 13 - spark plugs, wires and ignition distributor; 14 - thermostat with housing; 15 - oil filter; 16 - emergency oil pressure sensor; 17 - carburetor; 18 - torsion limiter
Remove the nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head and catalytic converter or to the exhaust pipe (pic. 3.12).
Use your hands to separate the manifold from the cylinder head, catalytic converter or exhaust pipe and remove from the engine.
Installation
Clean the mating surfaces of the manifold and cylinder head with a spatula from the remnants of the gasket material, being careful not to damage the surface of the head.
Install a new gasket and manifold on the cylinder head, fix the manifold by threading the nuts onto the studs. Install the nuts and bolts of the catalytic converter or exhaust pipe. Tighten nuts and bolts to the required torque. Tighten the nuts and bolts in the center first, and then cross-tighten them moving outwards.
Reattach the heat shield, air tubes and all other removed parts.
Attention! On a cold engine, loosen or loosen the camshaft and cylinder head bolts.
