Replacing the front camshaft oil seal

Remove the timing belt drive timing.

Remove the timing belt pulley from the camshaft.

Remove the oil seal with a screwdriver, taking care not to damage the seal lip.

Coat the lip of the new oil seal with a thin layer of engine oil.

Insert the stuffing box into the seat so that the lips of the stuffing box are directed inward. Using a mandrel, evenly press the oil seal around the circumference.
