To disassemble the cylinder head, it is necessary to remove the intake and exhaust manifolds and related parts. Remove the camshaft and rocker assembly with shafts from the head, if these parts have not already been removed. Mark the parts or lay them separately so that you can later install them in their original place.
Before removing the valves, mark them or prepare a place to put all the parts of the valve together and then install in the original guide bushing.
Using a special tool, compress the springs of the first valve and remove the crackers. Carefully release the valve springs, remove the plate, springs, oil cap and retaining ring, remove the valve from the cylinder head. If it is difficult to remove the valve from the guide (poorly pushed), push it back into the guide sleeve and lightly work with a needle file or bar on the section of the rod near the cracker groove.
Repeat the same steps for the rest of the valves. Remember that you need to lay all the parts of the valve together in order to subsequently install them in their original place.
After removing the valves and sorting them, clean the cylinder head and check its condition. If a complete overhaul of the engine is being carried out, then before cleaning and checking the cylinder head, complete all disassembly operations.
