Door lock
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Disconnect the rods and connectors from the door lock.
3. Loosen the fixing screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the lock.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
External door handle and lock drum
5. Remove the door trim panel.
6. Disconnect the rods and connection connectors (A) from the lock, remove the fastening clip (IN) lock drum by sliding it in the direction of the arrow (WITH).
7. On Ford Probe models, remove the plugs and remove the outer handle mounting nuts.

On Mazda models, unscrew the door handle fixing nut (arrow), remove the plug and unscrew the second nut.
8. Remove the lock handle/drum from the vehicle.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
