Brake pipes and hoses

Approximately every six months, inspect the rubber brake hoses for cracks, leaks, or wear. Replace hoses if necessary. Check the condition of the brake pipes.

Inspection and replacement

1. Loosen the connection nut (left), remove the retaining clip and disconnect the hose or tube (on right).



2. Always replace the copper sealing washers of the banjo connections.

3. Use brake pipes of the correct diameter and size. Do not use copper brake pipes. At installation check up reliability of fastening of tubes and hoses.

4. Bleed the brake system after installation.
