Attention! When replacing spark plugs, it is also recommended to check the high voltage wires.
Tools needed to change spark plugs
1. Deep nozzle
2. Torque wrench
3. Ratchet wrench
4. Extension
5. Wire gauge
1. Prepare the necessary tools for changing spark plugs.
2. Using a wire gauge, check the spark gap of the new spark plugs.
3. Adjust the gap if necessary by bending the side electrode.
4. Disconnect wires from spark plugs. Use compressed air to clean the area around the spark plugs and remove the spark plugs using a deep socket and extension.
5. Before installing new spark plugs, lubricate their threads with an anti-corrosion compound.
6. Screw the spark plugs into place using a piece of rubber hose as a universal joint so as not to damage the threads. Tighten the spark plugs to the required torque.
7. Connect high voltage wires.
