Exhaust system service

The exhaust system consists of the exhaust manifold or manifolds, catalytic converter, muffler and exhaust pipe. The elements of the exhaust system are attached to the body with brackets and hanging clips.

Carry out a regular check of the elements of the exhaust system. Worn elements of the exhaust system cannot be repaired, they must be replaced with new ones.



1. To remove the elements of the exhaust system, use penetrating oil.



2. Apply penetrating oil to the catalytic converter bolts.



3. During installation, check that there are no hanging clips (arrows).
