Clutch test

All models with a manual transmission have a dry, single plate clutch with a diaphragm type spring and hydraulic clutch release.

Examination

1. When checking the clutch, first check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir.

2. Check the condition of the hydraulic hoses and connections.

3. Check clutch operation and condition of clutch release lever bushing.
