1. All vehicles described in this manual are equipped with radial ply tires (pic. 21,.1). Using tires of a different size or type may affect the stability and handling of the vehicle. Do not install different types of tires on the vehicle (radial and diagonal). It is recommended to change wheels on one axle at the same time, however, if you are only changing one wheel, make sure that the tire on it has the same type, size and tread pattern as the tire on the other side.
2. Since tire pressure has a significant effect on tire wear, check tire pressure at least once a month or before driving a long distance (see chapter 1).
3. Make sure there that tire wear does not exceed the maximum allowable, and the tread depth is not less than recommended for your car. If the wheel is deformed, leaks air, has severe rust, large radial runout, replace it. Repairs of rims that require welding are not recommended.
4. When driving at high speed, braking and accelerating the car, it is important to balance the wheels. Unbalanced wheels reduce tire life. After installing a new tire, the wheel needs to be balanced. Tire balancing is desirable to perform only on special equipment.
