Vehicle identification number (VIN)
This very important number is stamped on the engine bulkhead in the engine compartment and repeated on a plate affixed to the fascia under the windshield inside the cabin on the driver's side (rice 0.1) The VIN is also on the vehicle's registration card. The card also contains information about where and when the car was made, model year and body type.
Engine code and prayer year
The VIN contains important information about the engine: the eighth character from the left of the VIN is the engine code, and the tenth character is the model year.

The engine code is needed when ordering spare parts for it. In addition to being a VIN component, the code can also be found on the engine itself. On 4-cylinder engines, it is located on the front side of the engine (towards the radiator), bottom left under the oil filter. On 6-cylinder V-shaped engines, the stake is located on the rear side of the engine (facing the engine bulkhead) on right (pic. 0.2).
Power train number
This number is needed when ordering spare parts for the transmission. On manual transmission models, it is located on the transmission housing. On automatic transmission models, it can be found on a decal on the front of the transmission case (pic. 0.3).
