Attention! The models described in this manual are equipped with airbags. When working in the cushion area, always turn them off (see chapter 12) to avoid accidental operation that could result in injury.
Warning! To avoid damage to the BEU by electrostatic discharge, hold the BEU only by the case. When removing and installing, do not touch its electrical contacts. If possible "ground" yourself on the car body with an antistatic conductor.
1. Electronic control unit (BZU) the power plant is located inside the cabin under the front panel, in front of the center console.
2. Disable the airbag system (see chapter 12).
Caution: If your car's audio system is equipped with a theft or theft protection, make sure that the volume is correct before disconnecting the airbags. that you know the unlock code.
3. Remove the front panel from the center console in front of the gear lever (see chapter 11). Turn out bolts of fastening of BEU (pic. 3.3).
4. Disconnect electrical connectors from BEU.
Caution: When disconnecting and connecting the BZU connectors, the ignition must be turned off.
5. Carefully remove the BCU.
Caution: The ECU can be damaged by electrostatic charge accumulated on your body. Before touching the BZU, "ground" yourself on the body of the car. After removing the BCU, place it on an antistatic mat.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
