The hub bearing preload is adjusted by tightening the hub nut.
Put on a new nut and tighten it with a torque of 2.5-3.0 kgf·m.
Rotate the brake drum or disc to self-align the roller bearings.
Loosen the nut one turn.
Hook the dynamometer onto one of the brake drum or disc studs and tighten the nut so that the torque of resistance to the rotation of the hub (bearing preload) was in the range of 0.15-0.49 kgf·m.
Lock the nut by punching into the groove of the hub trunnion.
Install the wheel on the studs and tighten the fastening nuts with a force of 9.0-12.0 kgf·m.
