Specifications of the cooling system

The car uses a liquid engine cooling system with forced circulation of liquid using a centrifugal pump driven by a V-belt from the crankshaft pulley.

Alternator drive belt

Brand and type: BANDO SP Autoflex NFM 35.2.

Normal deflection of the belt with a force of 10 kgf, mm:

• for a new belt: 8-9;
• for a worn-in belt: 9-10.

Thermostat

Main valve opening temperature,°С: 82.

Full opening temperature of the main valve,°С: 95.

Piston stroke of the main valve at 95°С, mm: 8.5.

Electric fan

Turning on and off the fan motor is carried out from the sensor for turning on the electric fan.

Electric fan switch-on temperature,°С: 91.

Coolant

Capacity of engine cooling and interior heating systems, l:

• cars with B3, B5, B6 engines and manual transmission: 5;
• cars with B6 EGI engine and cars with automatic transmission: 6.

Coolant used: mixture of distilled water and antifreeze.
