Checking the resistance of the injector winding
Disconnect the injector plug connector.
Measure the resistance of the injector winding with an ohmmeter, which should be in the range of 12-16 ohms.
Checking the electronic control unit
The electronic control unit is located on the front panel from the inside of the car.
Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the plugs in the connector of the electronic unit, connecting the voltmeter leads according to the table.
Checking the electrical parameters of the sensors
Based on the table, check the electrical parameters of the sensors using a voltmeter or ohmmeter, connecting them to the sensor blocks.
Coolant temperature sensors are tested by placing them in a tank of water or coolant that can be heated. Connect a 12 V power supply and an ohmmeter to the sensor. Turning on the water heating or cooling it, measure the resistance between the sensor terminals.
