Connect the outlet hose to the radiator, replacing the clamps if necessary.
Close the radiator drain cock and replace the cylinder block drain plug with a new gasket.
Fill with coolant.
Start the engine at idle and slowly add coolant to the radiator as the level drops.
After warming up the engine, press the accelerator pedal two or three times to remove air pockets. Stop the engine, check the level, which should reach the lower edge of the radiator filler neck. If the level is below normal and there are no signs of leakage in the system, add coolant. Replace the radiator cap.
