Lubricate the side gears and planet gears with the oil used for this gearbox.
Install side gears with thrust washers in the differential box.
Replace satellites with support washers.
Establish an axis of satellites.
Insert the pin into the axis of the satellites and tighten the pin to prevent it from falling out of the differential box.
Install the driven gear in the box.
Check the backlash between the teeth of the side gears and satellites in the following order:
- insert the front wheel drive shafts into the hole of the side gears;
- install the differential box assembly with the wheel drive shafts on the prisms;
- install a rack with an indicator on the differential box and measure the backlash between the teeth of each pinion gear and side gear, which should be within 0-0.1 mm;
- if the clearance is greater than the norm, achieve the required clearance by selecting the thickness of the side gear bearing washers.
