Remove parts in sequence. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery first.
Attention! This erases the data from the engine fault memory and the radio security code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in Section Removing and installing the battery. After installing the battery, connect the ground cable and, if available, set the time on the clock and set the security code of the radio.
