Removing
1. Loosen the wheel nuts of the car on the ground.
2. Change the position of the wheel disk relative to the hub so that the balanced wheel can be installed in its previous position.
3. Raise the front of the car.
4. Remove the wheel.
5. Unscrew the tie rod end -A- from the steering knuckle lever -F-, to do this, remove the cotter pin -E- and unscrew the lock nut -D-, -B- locknut, -C- steering rod.
6. Press out the tie rod end -A- with a standard puller -C-. -B- steering knuckle lever.
7. Loosen the locknut and unscrew the tip from the tie rod.
Attention! Mark the number of turns to screw the hinge when installed in the same position.
Installation
1. Screw on the tie rod end to the recorded number of revolutions, do not tighten the lock nut yet.
2. Insert the joint into the knuckle arm.
3. Tighten locknut firmly 50 Nm and fix new cotter pin. If the cotter pin does not fit into the hole, do not loosen the nut, but tighten further until the cotter pin is in place.
4. Screw on the wheel, taking into account the mark on the hub. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts crosswise with force 100 Nm.
5. Slightly rock the car so that the suspension elements sit down.
6. Check toe adjustment (performed in the workshop) and tighten the locknut on the tie rod end with a force 40 Nm.
