Wheel balancing

The wheels fitted as standard are balanced at the factory. Balancing is necessary to compensate for uneven weight distribution and material inhomogeneity. During operation, wheel imbalance manifests itself in the form of steering wheel tremor at high speed.

As a rule, this judder appears only at a certain speed and disappears at a lower or higher speed. Unbalance can lead to damage to the ball joints, steering gear and shock absorbers over time.

It is imperative to balance the wheels every 20,000 km and after repair, as the distribution of weight and material changes due to wear and repair.
