Attention! Plugs are equipped with various clamps. Press the latches at the points indicated by the arrows and at the same time disconnect the plug.
2. When connecting, squeeze the connector until the lock snaps into place.
3. When checking the flow of current or measuring voltage, test probes can only be inserted from the reverse side of the plug (cable side). If the probes are inserted into the sockets of the connector, the sockets will be deformed, which will lead to loose contact.
Attention! In case of waterproof connectors (in the engine compartment) Probes must not be inserted from the side of the cable. In this case, disconnect the connector. Make sure that the terminals are not damaged when inserting the probe.
4. When replacing a terminal in a plug, insert a narrow screwdriver from the open side between the clamping tabs and the terminal. Press the tab upwards and pull the terminal back. Insert the new terminal until it clicks into place. Pull on the cable to make sure the terminal is secure.
