When the tailgate is opened, the rear shelf is lifted by means of cords, so that access to the trunk is improved. To increase the volume of the trunk, the rear shelf can also be removed.
Removing the rear shelf
1. Loosen the cords on the tailgate.
2. Remove the shelf.
Attention! Due to the risk of injury in the event of emergency braking, only light items such as a jacket may be stored on the rear shelf.
3. To remove the spare wheel, attach the strap of the spare wheel cover to the tailgate hook.
Station wagon
Use a curtain if you want to shield your luggage from prying eyes or from direct sunlight.
Attention! Do not place any objects on this curtain.
1. Take the curtain with your hand and guide it out of the opening and squeeze it from the sides.
2. Release the curtain so that it fits into the holes.
Note. Installation of the curtain will be easier if you use the help of an assistant.
3. Insert the rods on the front edge into the four mounts on the back side.
4. Pull the back side of the blind and attach the hooks to the loops.
Spare wheel, jack, handle and tool
Sedan
Spare wheel, jack, jack handle and tools are located in the trunk of the car.
Note. To prevent the jack, jack handle and tools from rattling while driving, they must be properly secured.
