Seat belts with automatic retractor
To reduce the risk of injury in an accident or emergency braking, all occupants must always wear their seat belts. Front straps with three attachment points are equipped with a locking device. Retractable seat belts make it easier to get on and off passengers and improve comfort. When the deceleration force is high, such as when braking hard, the belts automatically lock to protect passengers from injury.
Note. If the strap becomes blocked when pulled out, it must be removed again before it can be pulled out to the desired length.
Attention! Seat belts must be replaced after every severe impact, such as after an accident.
Front seat belts
Fastening seat belts
1. Take the belt buckle and insert tongue.
2. Slowly pull out the belt.
3. Insert the tongue into the belt buckle until it clicks into place.
4. Pull the lower part of the belt as far as possible over your hips so that you cannot slip under the belt in the event of an accident. Pull the strap through the tongue so that it fits close to your body. The automatic retractor will automatically retract the loose belt webbing.
Attention! Never put the belt under the arm, around the neck or on the inner shoulder, otherwise the protective effect is significantly reduced.
Removing the seat belt
1. To remove the seat belt, press the button on the belt buckle.
Rear Seat Belts (with retractor)
Handling is the same as for the front seat belts.
(without retractor)
Type A
Fastening seat belts
1. Take the belt buckle and tongue.
2. Insert the tongue into the belt buckle until it clicks into place.
3. Adjust, if necessary, the length of the belt. To do this, hold the adjuster at a right angle to the belt and pull it to lengthen the belt. Pulling on the loose end of the belt shortens the belt.
4. Place the bottom of the belt as far as possible over your thighs.
Suspension of three-point seat belts
1. Hang the tongue on the hook of the belt attachment cover when the belt is not in use.
Type B
Fastening seat belts
1. Place the lower part of the belt as far as possible over your thighs and adjust the length of the belt. To do this, hold the strap tongue at a right angle to the strap and pull it to lengthen the strap. If you pull on the loose end of the belt, the belt will be shortened.
Removing the seat belt
1. To remove the seat belt, press the button on the belt buckle.
Rules for handling and caring for the seat belt system
To achieve the maximum protective effect of the seat belt system, please observe the following points:
- Never use the same seat belt for two passengers.
- Make sure the belt strap is not twisted.
- Keep belts and other parts of the system away from sharp edges and objects that could cause damage.
- Check at regular intervals the belt fabric, latches, attachment points, and other belt parts for wear, damage, and weak points. Replace damaged parts immediately.
- Use mild soap solutions or mild detergents to clean the belt. We do not recommend cleaning belts with chemicals such as carbon tetrachloride or gasoline, or bleaching or dyeing the belt fabric.
- No modifications or additions should be made to the belts.
- After using the belt, make sure that it does not catch on the control levers or other objects.
