General instructions for testing
Attention! If the self-diagnostic tool has detected a malfunction, for example, the coolant temperature sensor, the malfunction may also be inside the control device. The malfunction can be determined either by replacing the sensor, or by further detailed checking using special instruments (performed in the workshop).
Note. Workshops do not accept returns of purchased but unused parts.
1. Disconnect the cables, check the reliability of the connections, remove corrosion.
2. Check cable fastening.
3. Check the resistance of the defective part and compare with the required value.
4. Check the wires to the control device for current flow using an ohmmeter
Attention! When the battery is disconnected, faults in the memory of the control unit are erased. If the same malfunctions appear during further operation, they are again recorded in the memory.
