1. The oil pressure sensor should be checked if the control lamp on the instrument panel is off or on constantly. If the light stays on, check the oil pressure first. If the pressure is normal, the next check should be made.
2. Stop the engine and disconnect the Y/R plug from the oil pressure switch.
3. Start the engine and connect the Y/R plug to ground.
4. If the control lamp lights up, the sensor should be replaced. If the lamp does not light up, then either the lamp itself is faulty, or there is a break in the wires, check the wiring according to the diagram.
5. Connect the electrical cable to the oil pressure sensor.
