Since the hydraulic clutch drive system works with brake fluid, you should also read the relevant instructions in Section Bleeding the brake system.
1. Raise the front of the car.
2. Check the level of brake fluid in the compensation tank, top up if necessary to the maximum mark.
3. Remove the boot from the bleed valve on the working cylinder.
4. Carefully open the bleed valve. It is best to use a hex key to turn the valve.
5. Put a transparent hose on the pumping valve of the working cylinder.
6. Lower the free end of the hose into a bottle half filled with brake fluid, the end of the hose must be immersed in the brake fluid.
7. Slowly depress the clutch pedal several times (assistant).
8. Keeping the pedal depressed, loosen the bleed valve until brake fluid starts to flow out. Then close the valve again.
9. Release the pedal, press again and hold in this position. Open the bleed valve and close again. Repeat this process until there are no air bubbles in the escaping brake fluid. At the same time, constantly add fresh brake fluid to the compensation tank.
10. Remove the hose, put the boot on the bleed valve.
11. Add brake fluid to the compensation tank up to the maximum mark.
12. Make a test drive and check the operation of the clutch. The gears should turn on easily, without a rattle, otherwise repeat pumping, or find a malfunction in the table.
