Description of automatic transmission

Optionally, the MAZDA 323 models can be equipped with an automatic transmission. The automatic transmission has 3 or 4 forward gears that shift automatically. For faster acceleration, for example, during acceleration, the automation has a so-called Kickdown switch, which turns on when the gas pedal is fully pressed. The Kickdown effect ensures that the box shifts to a lower gear. To evaluate the operation of an automatic transmission and to correctly troubleshoot, experience with automatics and special knowledge is required.
