Anti-theft system - the immobilizer allows you to start the car engine only if there is a wearable card registered in the system «Advanced Key».
Attention! When starting the engine with the auxiliary key (for example, in the event of a wearable card battery being discharged «Advanced Key» or disruption of its performance) follow the recommendations below. Otherwise, the system will not be able to correctly receive the signal from the auxiliary key, and the engine will not start.
Anti-theft system (immobilizer) activated when the ignition switch is turned from position «ON» (ignition on) into position «ACC» (auxiliary consumers of electricity) or «LOCK» (blocking). The immobilizer indicator located on the dashboard flashes at intervals of two seconds before turning off.
Turning off the immobilizer
Anti-theft system (immobilizer) turns off when the ignition switch is turned to the position «ON» (ignition on), if you have a wearable card registered with the system «Advanced Key». At the same time, the immobilizer indicator will light up for about 3 seconds and then go out. If the engine does not start when a registered card is present and the immobilizer indicator remains on or flashing, this may indicate a malfunction of the anti-theft system.
The engine also does not start and the immobilizer indicator is on or flashing if the wearable card is located in an area where the system cannot reliably detect a signal, such as on the control panel or in the glove box. Transfer the wearable card to another location, turn the ignition switch to the «LOCK» (blocking) and then try to start the engine. Signals from television and radio stations, from a transceiver or mobile phone may interfere with the operation of the immobilizer. If using a registered wearable card «Advanced Key» the engine does not start, pay attention to the immobilizer indicator. If it flashes, turn the ignition switch to the «ACC» (auxiliary consumers of electricity) or «LOCK» (blocking) and take a short break. Then try to start the engine.
