Wearable card «Advanced Key»

The Keyless Entry and Start System allows you to: (while wearable card «Advanced Key» you should have with you):

• locking/unlocking doors and tailgate/liftgate and opening the tailgate without using a key;
• starting the car engine without using a key.

Wearable card «Advanced Key» allows you to additionally perform some functions that are not available for the central locking remote control system. Operations that can be performed remotely using the remote control built into the wearable card (using buttons «lock up» / «Unlock» / «trunk lid»):

• locking/unlocking doors and tailgate/liftgate;
• opening the trunk lid;
• opening/closing door windows (with electric windows);
• locking/unlocking the doors and trunk lid, opening the trunk lid and starting the engine with the auxiliary key.

Attention! Do not leave the key in the car when you have left the car. Do not leave the keys in the car if there are small children in the car. Keep your car keys out of the reach of children. Radio waves emitted by a wearable card «Advanced Key», may interfere with the normal operation of various medical devices, such as pacemakers. Therefore, be sure to consult a representative of the manufacturer of medical equipment or your doctor regarding the safety of using a wearable card «Advanced Key» in the immediate vicinity of people using such medical devices.

Since in the wearable card «Advanced Key» a low-power radio transmitter is used, under some of the conditions listed below, the card may not function properly.

• Wearable card «Advanced Key» located near mobile communication devices (e.g. cell phone).
• Wearable card «Advanced Key» touches or is covered by a metal object.
• Wearable card «Advanced Key» near electronic equipment such as a personal computer.
• The vehicle is equipped with electronic equipment that is not a genuine Mazda product.
• There is a radio emitting device near the car.

Wearable card «Advanced Key» may draw more electrical power from the battery if it receives strong RF energy. Therefore, do not place the wearable card near electronic devices such as televisions or personal computers.

To avoid damage to the wearable card «Advanced Key» the following recommendations must be observed:

• do not drop or throw the card;
• do not expose the card to moisture;
• do not disassemble the card;
• do not expose the card to high temperatures and direct sunlight, do not place the card on the control panel or on the hood of a car where it can get very hot;
• do not put heavy objects on the card;
• do not put the card into the ultrasonic cleaner;
• do not place the card near any magnetized objects.

The battery life is approximately one year. Replace the battery if the alarm «KEY» (Green colour), located on the instrument panel flashes. Additional wearable cards can be purchased from an Authorized Mazda Dealer. Up to 6 wearable cards can be used simultaneously on one car «Advanced Key».
