Disabling the vehicle intrusion sensor

In the cases listed below, it is necessary, by turning on the security alarm, to turn off the intrusion sensor (This will prevent unwanted triggering of the security alarm):

• there is a moving object left in the car;
• there is an object left in the car that can roll around the cabin when the car rolls (e.g. when the vehicle is installed on the deck of a ferry);
• Metal objects are moving near the vehicle, such as the gantry of an automatic washer.

To disable the intrusion sensor, press the sensor disable button located on the remote control within 20 seconds after the lock button has been pressed.

At the same time, the turn signal lights will flash three times.

To re-enable the intrusion detector, disarm the alarm and then re-arm the alarm. The intrusion sensor is activated every time the security alarm is armed. To prevent the intrusion sensor from working, each time the alarm is armed, press the sensor disable button on the remote control.
