The cylinder head is hardened, made of light aluminum alloy and has a very high thermal conductivity. The head is equipped with new compact wedge-shaped combustion chambers. The wedge shape contributes to high knock resistance and increases the fuel efficiency of the engine. Spark plugs are installed at the top of the combustion chambers to improve combustion efficiency. Inlet / outlet channels are located transversely (39°valve angle, each cylinder has two intake and two exhaust valves), owing to what the big efficiency of an inlet and outlet is reached. The cylinder head bolts have a tightening torque in the plastic zone, tightening is carried out in five steps. This ensures the stability of the bolt axis during tightening (pic. 2.4).
