Removing
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Remove the bottom cover together with the mudguard.
Drain the engine coolant.
Fix the expansion tank of the cooling system so that it does not interfere with work.
Remove the power steering reservoir with hoses.
Remove the power steering pump with hoses and tubes.
Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
Position the oil control valve harness so that it does not interfere with operation.
Position the accelerator cable bracket so that it does not interfere with operation.
Remove the following:
- front wheel (right);
- drive belt;
- air filter housing, PCM assembly, and intake air duct;
- ignition coil;
- generator;
- coolant pump;
- timing chain drive.

Remove oil pump and gasket (pic. 2.295).
Installation

Install the oil pump gasket to the oil pump (pic. 2.296).
Install the oil pump with gasket to the engine.
Add fluid to the engine cooling system.
Start the engine and check for oil leakage.
If there is an oil leak, identify the failed element and repair or replace it.
Check oil pressure.
Check the oil level.
Check ignition timing and idling speed.
