On vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, a diaphragm-type dry single-plate clutch is used (pic. 3.1).
Before performing any operation on the clutch, it is necessary to carry out several checks in order to be sure that it is the clutch that is faulty.
When checking the clutch, first check the fluid level in the reservoir. Check the condition of the hoses and their connections. Inspect the clutch pedal bushings for wear and tightness.
